How much of our mind are we really using consciously? Some scientists say we only use 10% and others say even less, more like 3%!
The usage of our mind can never be determined; however, we can put more attention on how we can use our mind to better our health and wellbeing.
Imagination requires using the mind in a way that opens the door to possibility. In the world of possibility, we are more open to the information and energy that will serve our ability to transcend the limitations of our past and let go of our fears of the unknown. We naturally tap into the wisdom that is inherent within that will free us from the survival patterns of life itself.
There comes a time when we cannot rely on figuring "it" out through the five senses. Knowledge based on logic will not solely solve the problem at hand especially if we have been conditioned to only see the world a certain way. Below are 5 empowering steps to reclaim your imaginative and intuitive gifts for clearing and healing :)
Step 1: Preparation
Sit or lay down in a comfortable position. Breathe in deeply through the nose until the lungs are full with nourishing oxygen. Exhale deeply and slowly through the mouth until your lungs have completely emptied out, cleansing the body completely. Repeat three times.
Step 2: Purpose
The purpose is to intend clearing and healing of your mind, body, heart and soul for the greatest and highest good of all.
Step 3: Play
Imagine having super scanning ability. By using the feeling senses as a tool and putting attention on your mind, body, heart and soul, information comes to you easily showing up as images, scenery, color, emotion, messages, insights, awareness...etc. yet there is no attachment only presence. There is only the presence to observe, acknowledge and receive information in all its form. There is no right or wrong.
Typically, the attention is brought to an area of priority. It can be a body part, something that's been on your mind, past trauma, fears of the future, deep subconscious blocks, or attention on something that must be done to better your life. For now, we are looking for a general imagery that shows where you are at now. This will represent your overall state of health and healing in the present moment.
A quick note, this practice will help you become more in tune or intuitive. The receptivity will cultivate a skill or an ability to read energy or information. The brain responds to pictures and feelings. The saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words," definitely applies here. Don't try to make sense of it just yet. The understanding will come later.
Step 4: Process
Be aware and acknowledge the change or clearing that is happening. There is really nothing to do. The learning is to be and to be present with your imagination. The process will naturally happen without trying so hard. The images will appear because the purpose or intention has already sparked the cycle of creativity.
As an example, if an image came through and it was dark and gloomy which felt heavy and burdensome, did it shift to something different? And, if it did shift, did you feel different? Maybe you felt lighter because the image cleared as if the storm just passed.
The process is complete when you feel clearer than when you first started. If you get lost or distracted, just come back and ask yourself, "Where am I now with this practice?” and see the new image that is available now.
Step 5: Practice
This exercise is focused on progress not perfection. Continue to practice these steps in order to heighten your awareness on the deeper blocks and imbalances that are hiding behind the scenes as well as awareness on what is already working for you. As this practice is done daily, the creative mind and logical mind will integrate and work together more harmoniously. The intelligence of the heart will dominate and the logical mind will find amazing solutions on how to serve for the greatest and highest good of all. The natural side effect is a better healthier you!
Option: To enhance this practice, apply the Whole Brain Posture, a Psyck-K Technique.
It is found in our Simple Balance Community Private Page under Emotional Health for our Simple Balance Community. If you are not a part of our community, visit http://www.simplebalancehealth.com/email-community.html. You will then receive the passcode to enter our helpful page.
The Whole Brain Posture is a clearing and healing exercise that can take anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes or even longer if in a deep state of meditation. This is only a template. As you get better, change the intention or even modify the practice. See what you come up with. This is to assist with your own awakening of the wisdom within.
