When Healing Feels Far Away: A Gentle Invitation to Faith

by Dr. Jaena

If you’re reading this, you might be exhausted.
You might be wondering why the healing hasn’t come yet.
Maybe you’ve done so much work, tried so many things, and yet… something still hurts. Something still feels stuck.

You are not broken.
You’re not behind.
And you’re certainly not alone.

Sometimes, healing doesn’t come right away—not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because the missing piece hasn’t been revealed yet. Sometimes, your body is in such a constant state of stress—fight, flight, or freeze—that it can’t even access the healing it’s longing for.

And that’s where faith comes in.

What Is Faith, Really?

Faith isn’t pretending everything is fine. It’s not blind optimism or bypassing pain.
Faith is a gentle decision to believe in something greater—something loving, wise, and deeply invested in your well-being.

Faith is what carries us when we don’t have answers.
It opens the doors we didn’t even know existed.
It whispers, “Keep going. You’ll be shown what you need.”

Faith doesn’t always bring instant change.
But it always brings direction.

As Anthony William shares:

“When we feel like there is no reason to have faith, that's when we need it the most—faith that there is a divine presence in this world, a presence that sees the same suffering we do, finds it senseless, and wants to offer us aid... Faith is intricate, and belief is just one piece woven through it. Belief in God’s angels, coupled with faith that God has not abandoned or betrayed us, can be a lifeline—if we let it.”

This is the power of faith:
Even when everything feels broken… even when we don’t understand why things happen… we can still choose it.

With faith, we activate our God-given right of free will—to choose it.
To choose trust, even in the middle of the chaos.
To remember love in a world that’s broken and distracted.
To say yes to support, even when we can’t see where it will come from.

In a world that tries to distract us from hope,
our faith becomes a rebellion.
A return.
A remembering.

It brings us back to the truth: We are not alone.

When You Don’t Know the Root Cause

One of the hardest parts of the healing journey is not knowing why things feel off.
You may not have a clear diagnosis. You may have tried so many things that didn’t work. Or maybe the words for what you’re experiencing don’t even exist yet.

That doesn’t mean healing isn’t happening.
It simply means that you haven’t yet received the missing piece—and it will come.

This happened in my own life.

When my daughter struggled with chronic asthma, we were doing everything we knew to do. We saw doctors, made changes, followed advice. But no one knew the true cause.
And when we don’t know the cause… how can we support the body properly?
How can we treat what we don’t yet understand?

That’s when—unexpectedly and divinely—I was led to the Medical Medium information.
This is advanced medical information from above. And in that moment, I knew:
we needed a helping hand from above.
What I read spoke directly to my soul.
It gave us language for what we had been experiencing—and offered us a new foundation to heal from the ground up.

It began helping my daughter.
Then, it began helping my mom—bringing relief through many of her dementia flare-ups and symptoms.

One piece of truth helped two generations in my family.

And now, I share that information freely—blending it with the science and spirituality of healing—for anyone who feels ready to receive it.

When You’re in Survival Mode

If you’re feeling constantly overwhelmed or tense, your body might be stuck in survival mode. This isn’t your fault—it’s a brilliant, protective response. But when we’re in fight-or-flight, we often can’t access clarity, rest, or healing.

And sometimes, we don’t even realize how we’re keeping ourselves there.

We may be unknowingly triggering our nervous systems through things like:

  • Watching intense or violent movies

  • Listening to heartbreaking news

  • Skipping meals or fasting too often

  • Eating high-fat diets that weigh down the liver and the brain

  • Never pausing to breathe, to rest, or to reflect

We just keep going—because we’re told we have to.
Because the world around us runs on urgency, pressure, and fear.
Because chronic stress has become the rhythm of our society.

But again—this is not your fault.
You are not weak.
You are human.

That’s why faith is so powerful—it softens those inner edges.
It reminds the body that it’s safe to hope again.
It allows divine wisdom to enter through the smallest openings of trust.

And from that safety… healing becomes possible.

A Practice for When You Feel Lost or Discouraged

If you feel stuck, here’s a simple practice to invite in support—on any level:

  1. Find a quiet moment, even if it’s just one minute.

  2. Place your hand on your heart or belly, wherever you need comfort.

  3. Breathe gently and say to yourself or out loud:

    • “I don’t know what to do, but I’m open to guidance.”

    • “Peace be with me.”

    • “Light, light, light.”

    • “Please show me what I need to see. Help me find what will unlock my healing.”

  4. Ask for help from whatever you feel connected to—

    • You might say, “Angels, I invite you in.”

    • Or “God, please guide me.”

    • Or “Jesus, Spirit, Source, Love—walk with me.”

You don’t need the perfect words. Just sincerity. That’s enough.

If You Don’t Feel It Yet…

You might not feel anything at first—and that’s okay.
You might feel numb, tired, skeptical, or frustrated. That’s okay too.

You’re not failing. You’re becoming available.
Faith is the soil. Healing, insight, and clarity grow from there.

You Will Be Shown

With faith, you will be led.
You’ll receive the message that resonates with your soul.
You’ll find the support you didn’t know existed.
You’ll recognize the subtle nudges that say, “This way.”

Healing may not look the way you expected.
But it will come—one step, one breath, one moment of surrender at a time.
